Carers' resource

The Carers' Resource is an independent Yorkshire charity offering advice, information and a wide range of support to people of all ages who are caring for a parent, partner, relative or child with additional needs.

Comply Direct chose to work with The Carers' Resource for a number of reasons. They are a local charity with an office based on the same Business Park as Comply Direct. The whole team feel the work the charity does is very worthwhile, and that we can all add value in helping raise funds for donation to the charity, as well as volunteering our time to help with some of the practical aspects of their work.

Comply Direct has been presented with the 'Keeping us Company' certificate. An initiative which gives Carers’ Resource the opportunity to thank the existing corporate supporters and for helping them to reach new businesses (see newstory).

To date, we have donated £500 to fund the ‘Home from Hospital’ scheme (see newstory) and have committed to raising funds by holding or taking in part in the following events;

Comply Direct will be asking its member companies (particularly those in the Yorkshire region) to support such fundraising efforts and more details will be released regarding ways to undertake sponsorship.
