Revised Guidance Notes for RoHS Directive

The Government have provided revised Guidance Notes for the RoHS Regulations in the UK.

Revised Government Guidance notes

Following agreement of a Recast RoHS Directive by the European Parliament in November 2010, we expect the new RoHS Directive to be approved in Council later next month, followed afterwards by publication in the Official Journal. After publication there will be an 18 month period before the Directive must be transposed by member states.
