Resource Association launch Recycling Charter

Resource Association launched a new Recycling Charter on June 7th 2012 designed to provide the public with a clearer picture of where their recycling ends up.

The Charter is a voluntary commitment to publish an annual Register of End Destination of Recyclates, with the aim of improving transparency in the recycling supply chain with an end result of improving the publics confidence in Recycling. Through provision of better information to the public, the aim is to raise awareness and understanding, improve public confidence in the recycling process, and increase public participation in available recycling schemes.
