National waste strategies

England, Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland have each developed a National Waste Strategy which outlines how the UK plans to deal with the increasing amount of waste that has been produced year on year.

For England, Defra recently published in Oct 2009 its Waste Strategy Annual Progress Report 2008/09. See Link.
