Recycling in Action has established a UK-wide network of approved and authorised WEEE treatment facilities (AATFs). This has been done to ensure logistics costs can be kept as low as possible and enables us to offer competitive collections wherever the location.
As part of this network, through Evans Logistics, Recycling in Action has an inhouse WEEE treatment facility based at Capital Valley in South Wales. Evans Logistics has made substantial investment in state of the art recycling equipment and are keen to promote UK based recycling.
Evans Logistics initially became a major player in this sector through their leading fridge demanufacturing plant and they have been meeting the compliance needs of industry under the ODS regulations for several years now.
There’s no need to worry about the issues involved in handling and transporting any category of WEEE. Our nationwide logistics service means we can deliver or collect anywhere throughout the UK quickly, efficiently and at a time to suit you.
Our key customer groups include local authorities, original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), business end-users, licensed waste carriers and the voluntary sector specialising in the re-use of electrical equipment.
Our network of WEEE traetment facilities have all the required licences and permits for handling, storing and treating hazardous wastes (such as TVs and monitors containing CRTs, fluorescent lighting and fridges/freezers) enabling an alternative to expensive hazardous waste landfill. We always look to find the maximum value in your recyclable materials.
