WEEE B2B producer compliance
The UK WEEE Regulations place a responsibility on producers to pay the costs of collection, treatment, recycling and recovery of WEEE in the UK from implementation day. Obligated producers must meet the requirements of the regulations, regardless of size or market share. Producers are potentially obligated if they manufacture, import or sell under their own label electrical and electronic equipment.
B2B (non household) obligated producers supply EEE that ultimately ends up in a business end-user environment. Obligated B2B producers have a requirement to collect new WEEE at end of life from business end-users and historic WEEE one a one for one like for like basis when replacing equipment.
