Comply Direct celebrated their proud 10 year anniversary last week with an exclusive member event, held at the Supply Chain Academy in London. Our members and guest speakers had a fantastic time, and our staff had a great time showcasing Comply Direct.
It was a packed and informative day consisting of many workshops and guest speakers that entertained our members. Sarah Foster, Comply Directs Sales Manager welcomed members and set the scene for the day. Alex Golledge - Bank of England, gave an overview of the UK economy, followed by Comply Direct’s Managing Director, Gareth Roberts presentation on the Circular Economy. Other speakers included Blane Judd from The Institute of Engineering and Technology and Moira Thomas from the John Lewis Partnership (JLP) who talked about the JLP sustainability achievements.
“It was a fantastic day which was so informative, a lovely location and a nice chance to meet everyone.”

“Excellent facilities, superb food with a comfortable atmosphere contributing to a fantastic mix”
Maxie Sylvester, Greencore
After our members enjoyed a complimentary lunch in the fantastic surroundings, there was the chance to enjoy an informative and inspiring session with our Keynote speaker Jo Fairley, Co-Founder of Green and Blacks. Sustainable Supply Chains were brought to life by Vijay Madlani from the Uniserve Group. To end the day Rob Scarpello from the Environment Agency was on hand to give an update from the regulator on everything which was important to be known by our members.

Workshops throughout the day enabled members to gain a deeper insight into data gathering, sustainability, the PRN market and an opportunity for a Q&A session with The Environment Agency.
On behalf of everyone at Comply Direct, we would like to thank our members for attending our exclusive seminar. It was great to meet our members and talk about the progress their companies are making and how Comply Direct are making a difference to their environmental needs.
The location - the Supply Chain Academy - was the perfect setting and Gary Cobbing, from Uniserve tells us why -
"We were extremely proud to host the Comply Direct 10-year anniversary event at our Upminster Court Headquarters, home to the Supply Chain Academy. The event was a great success and we very much enjoyed being a part of the celebration. The Supply Chain Academy opened the event for Comply Direct and we demonstrated how we are able to offer business leaders and executives the highest level supply chain insight and tuition within the only institute of its kind in the United Kingdom. Upminster Court and The Supply Chain Academy from part of the Uniserve Group. Uniserve are the UKs leading independent logistics and freight management provider.
