Today (7 November), Comply Direct's Commercial Manager Sarah Foster, shared her expertise about packaging waste at the 4th annual Food & Drink Business Expo at the Ricoh Arena, Coventry.
The annual event now in its 4th year is organised by leading publication Food and Drink Business Europe, who have over 20 years' experience in the food and beverage manufacturing industry. With its vast knowledge and expertise of the industry, it organises and hosts events covering matters important to the industry.
Comply Direct's Commercial Manager Sarah Foster was carefully selected to be a speaker on the day. Sarah joined Comply Direct in 2014 and specialises in Packaging Compliance and the PRN market. Since joining the team Sarah has been the key contact for the schemes largest members and is responsible for ensuring that all required recycling evidence is acquired annually in line with member obligations.
Sarah addressed the conference audience with information on packaging waste and what the future changes to producer responsibility mean to the food and beverage sector. Sarah's knowledge and expertise shone as she presented on packaging waste recycling targets to 2020, potential changes including the circular economy, export issues. legislation change and Packflow 2025, and how these changes may affect producers.
