Comply Direct's Commercial Manager Sarah Foster will be speaking at The Plastics Design & Moulding (PDM) Event on 19 June in Telford
The event runs over 2 days from 19-20 June 2018 and is taking place at the Telford International Centre. First launched in 2005, the PDM event is always held in the same location due to the midlands being the heart of UK plastics. More specifically, Telford is otherwise known as the 'plastics valley' by those in the industry, as it is home to over 100 companies in the polymer sector and has been for over 20 years.
This fitting location and long-standing event understandably attracts many key players from across the plastics industry and the event aims to bring all of these together in one place to accomplish multiple aims.
The 2018 event will focus on innovation and excellence in the industry through displaying the latest projects and initiatives. Material suppliers, machinery manufacturers, recycling companies and component suppliers will make-up just some of the exhibitors. In addition, alongside Sarah, there will be multiple key speakers from the industry covering all things plastic - legislation, politics, perceptions, waste and much more.
We're excited to have a presence at this year's event through Sarah being a key speaker in the 'Issues facing the industry' element of the conference. Sarah's presentation is titled 'Striking the right balance with the evolving UK PRN System' and she will cover the proposed changes to the PRN system, how they could be implemented and how industry stakeholders may be impacted.
Sarah joined Comply Direct in 2014 and specialises in Packaging Compliance and the PRN market. Since joining the team Sarah has been the key contact for the schemes largest members and suppliers alike and is responsible for ensuring that all required recycling evidence is acquired annually in line with member obligations.
