The entry requirements for the ‘Best Small Business’ award category had to be a company with 50 or less employees and the written submission needed to cover the following:
A clear offering and a well-defined set of potential customers will have led this business to great success in its chosen market, demonstrated by more than just profit, but also customer feedback. Maybe you work with some really big names, or perhaps you’ve carved out a niche that no one else can compete within.
Help the judges understand what’s unique about your business and why it deserves to be a winner. Tell us about how and why the business was started, your vision, the success you’ve had so far (financial or otherwise) and your plans for the future.
Our entry clearly defines our consistent year-on-year growth of both customer base and turnover since Comply Direct’s establishment in 2006. At the outset, we were very much focused on establishing ourselves in the market and our main objective was to grow the member base. From 2010, we began to take a more strategic approach and began focusing our efforts on recruiting companies with a substantial packaging obligation. We now work with multiple leading brand names including The John Lewis Partnership, Fyffes Bananas, Fevertree, Britvic, KP Snacks and Cranswick PLC, just to name a few.
In terms of positive customer feedback, this is an area we excel in. We provide a bespoke service to all our members by really listening and responding to their needs and requirements.
