Comply Direct will be undertaking a two-day wild camping expedition in Snowdonia this Summer to raise funds for mental health charity Mind
Our annual sporting challenge this year is taking place on 19 and 20 July and the team will be taking on a highly demanding hiking challenge in the picturesque Snowdonia landscape. The challenge will involve trailing through rough terrain guided entirely by map and compass. The team will split into two groups, each covering over 35km of distance and ascending 3000m throughout the 2 days, with the aim of hitting as many peaks as possible and including a night wild camping before finishing at the top of Snowdon mountain.
This gruelling expedition will not only challenge our physical and mental strength whilst building our teamwork skills, but also act as an opportunity for us to support and contribute to Mind - a charity close to our hearts.
Mind's purpose is to provide everybody who has a mental health problem with the support and respect they deserve and need. Mind deliver advice and support with the aim of empowering all those suffering with a mental health issue. Campaigning is also a huge part of Mind's mission and their key aims are to improve the services they provide, increase awareness and promote understanding of the illnesses that are often dismissed or ignored by many people due to the common absence of physical symptoms.
