Throughout November 2017, two of the Comply Direct boys embraced the Movember spirit and grew moustaches for a great cause. Together, Joe and Mark raised a fabulous total of £110
The Movember Foundation work to tackle men's health issues that aren't widely talked about. Prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health problems and suicides are the cause of far too many men dying young. Often, men are reluctant to freely discuss their health or emotional feelings and commonly won't take action when they feel physically or mentally unwell. In addition, men often get involved in dangerous activities that are harmful to their health, therefore, the Movember Foundation fund ground-breaking progammes globally, in order to engage with men, provide education, change men's behaviour and perceptions for the better and ultimately be an advocate for men all over the world.
Their overall goal is to reduce the number of men dying prematurely by 25%, by 2030.
